Leading to the Cosmos
It is no secret that I have simply fallen in love with the coastline of the Llyn Peninsula, not just for its ruggedly beautiful coastline- but for its mesmerisingly dark skies. Here at Abersoch Beach I spent an evening star gazing and shooting the Milky Way. There is nothing more peaceful than gazing at a sky full of stars whilst the ocean gently laps at the shore. I took lots of shots at this location, but couldn’t resist taking a shot of the walk way down as I felt it made a pleasing leading line.
This image is a composite, of a 20 shot stacked sky with a single shot of the foreground. I am looking forward to returning to this location next year with my trackers to see what other compositions I can capture.
